What a fabulous day

Mourinho Quits.. Man this was the most shocking thing i have read for a long long time..I mean if the president had to die, it wont be shocking for me.. but ya him quitting Chelsea has spiced up things in the league.. All knew that things at Chelsea weren't that rosy.. I had a feeling that he would have quit last summer.. Then the results against villa, burn and rosenborg spurred him to make some comments against his players esp a few which was directed at shevchenko ( Abrahamovichs fav) ..

Now Chelsea face United this sunday and it should be interesting how they go about things with Grant being in charge of the team.. I dont think many players will be in favour of the new guy..
But must say am loving this season.. cant wait to see what happens..

All the calculations goin haywire

This season of EPL has been nothing short of a surprise to me.. All my calculations have gone wrong.. Quite a few of the teams who you didnt expect to perform are doing well.. For instance Man city, ok they got sven ( I think hes really good ) but with about 8-9 players all new players, i thought they would take a good while to get adjusted but not be .. they have performed really well...
Newcastle with Allardyce as coach , i knew they wud do well.. he can do what many other managers have been unsuccessful at i.e. win em trophies..
West ham a team i thought would do well considering the players they have bought in havent yet clicked..
Liverpool with huge amount of strikers they have i thot mite not click caz of rafas thing of rotating the team all the time..

Lets c what else happens this year..

Charity shield and just 5 more days to go

Well must say my sunday was well spent with Charity shield.. Well i have never paid much attention to this cup.. Its more of a glorified friendly in my opinion..Just a teaser before the main one starts.. and usually Man utd have never done well in this cup and surprisingly won via penalty.. Even though for most of the game they played better football than Chelsea.. Goin in to next week things arent going right at Chelsea.. Lotsa injuries to key players, a few who are there are wanting out off the club.. So a lot for Mourinho to think about..
For united the tevez issue seems sorted now and he should be in by this week.. Saw a glimpse of Nani, a bundle of energy , was good at taking corners and was also good to see Fergie havin faith in the kid and giving him that role..

Am so waiting for this to kickoff this week.. to see how the teams line up.. what formations are gonna be out.. whos gonna make the 1st team.. dyin to see keanos sunderland.. will be gr8 to see the legend back ...

Bring it on.. I am ready ..

Come 11th of August i would go in this tizzy that lasts me till the may of next year. Yea the football season kicks of at that time and this year am really kicked about things..

Firstly being the signings that a lot of these clubs have made.. To start with Chelsea havent YET gone crazy in transfer market.. they have just signed people on free transfers and one malouda..
Arsenal are quite in shambles.. they lost the one guy on whom the whole team revolves on that too so darn cheaply to barca ( I don't even wanna go there and think about that attacking options they got, its scary). Plus another problem being that wenger doesnt wanna sign the new contract.. The whole big revival that they had in the 90s were all thanks to this man.. ( eventhough i wouldnt agree to the fact of him not playing any english players in the 1st eleven).
Liverpool, the 90s have been the time they have so badly underperformed. This year again they have looked to change things. they have gone out and bought a spaniard torres, hes one of those if he clicks can really make a difference to the team.. they have gone a lil mad in ma opinion caz they have signed two more strikers (voronin and babel) .. so these 3 with crouch and kuyt already there. 5 strikers i think its a little too much.. they have also signed benayoun, hes a decent buy in my opinion.. but i think they still need to offload a few pepl..
Newcastle, now heres a team that i am looking forward to seeing mainly caz of the managerial change .. Sam allardyce is one of those guys who i have admired to do what he achieved with a small club like bolton... hes out n out english, aggressive, dogged, motivating and everything that i like in a manager. And i wanna see what he can do with the biggest underachievers in england.. I mean just look at the support that this club has , a ground with a capacity of 50,000 plus and still they havent managed to do anything..
Tottenham Hotspurs , this is another club who has a good team and have been wanting to make it into the big league..
And finally Manchester United, Premier league champs of last season. They have gone one step ahead of ensuring they put up a big fight this time too by signing 3 players ( Owen Hargreaves, nani and anderson) and hopefully Tevez by the end of next month. Now that will be some team. I do feel they need to take out a few players like silvestre and fletcher.

And finally my predictions

Winner: Manchester United / Liverpool
